The majority of the population has seen a chiropractor at one point in their lives. When you think about a chiropractor, you think of getting your back adjusted because it is stiff and you are uncomfortable. But there are lots of reasons why someone would consider seeing a chiropractor. Some of the reasons might surprise you.

Back and neck pain

This shouldn’t surprise anyone. For a lot of people, going to the chiropractor at the first sign of neck or back pain is a no brainer. If it is just a catch in your tendons or nerves, a little cracking here and there with some heat afterwards does the trick. More severe problems require more than one visit but are usually resolved pretty quickly.

Extremity tingling, pain and/or numbness

Just like the back and neck, this could mean that there is a kink in the tendons or nerves and they need to be moved back into place. In some cases patients can be suffering from a disease like Sciatica or Cervical Radiculopathy and they need to alleviate the pain without surgery.
Headaches

Sometimes headaches can be eliminated by removing pressure off of the nerves. Seeing a chiropractor can be an easy alternative to constantly taking medication. If you suffer from frequent headaches seeing a chiropractor can be all of the difference.

Easier pregnancy

Because chiropractic care treats back pain, heartburn and circulation issues, it is said that going in for treatment can help make a woman’s pregnancy easier. Research also is showing that patients who do see a chiropractor have been known to have shorter and less painful deliveries.

Like we said, there are lots of good reasons why you would want to see a chiropractor. If you are in pain or would like to see what all of the fuss is about, call us at Marshalls Creek Wellness Solutions today.
